About OES

Olympia Emergency Services (OES) is a democratic, physician owned practice located in Olympia, Washington. We are a passionate and dedicated team of emergency medical professionals committed to providing exceptional care to the people of Thurston County and the South Puget Sound region.

OES believes that healthcare should be evidenced-based, with shared decision making between the patient and their practitioner. The practice comprises all board certified/board eligible emergency physicians, and includes sub-specialties of toxicology, ultrasound, wilderness medicine, and emergency medical services. We also employ carefully selected and trained advance practitioners including physician assistants (PA) and advanced practice registered nurses (ARNP). Our practice draws on physicians from all across the country, and roughly one third of our practitioners are active/former military. We deliver the highest quality of care with this specialized and highly trained staff.

Our practice works with Providence St. Peter Hospital, where we have been for over 40 years. We are able to rapidly diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions that threaten your life, your overall health, and the health of your children. We are there for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through weekends and holidays. When we are not actively staffing the emergency room, we work with the administration of Providence St. Peter’s to improve and streamline your experience.
